Volunteer

Ambassador Volunteer

The REACH Ambassador Volunteer  offers Rush staff, faculty, students, and SAME legacy scholars the opportunity to be an ambassador for specific REACH programs and school communities. REACH ambassadors will help move our mission and vision forward by giving their time to several of our yearly ongoing programs, which include career panel presentations, mentorship, tutoring, and preceptorship. Interested ambassadors would be considered brand ambassadors as well as volunteers for REACH.

Event Volunteer

As a REACH Event Volunteer Rush staff, faculty, students, SAME legacy scholars have an opportunity to play a key role in sparking interest, igniting awareness, and expanding possibilities for student growth.  By connecting with students for academic and extracurricular enrichment, a REACH volunteer will have the chance to help them increase their chances for success.

Mentor

As a Mentor, Rush staff, faculty, and students and SAME legacy scholars have the opportunity to share their experiences and play a role in workforce development and healthcare career exploration for our youth. Mentors will work with one or two of our MedSTEM Pathways Interns to provide college- and career-focused mentoring during our 6-week summer program.

REACH is founded on the idea that opportunities, readiness and higher educational attainment can improve lives. To support this core belief, we continue to provide a variety of programming to students in the West Side community.
By committing your time as a volunteer with REACH, you will be contributing to guiding, teaching, and pushing students to be healthcare change agents of the future.
